Father's Day Tribute

In honor of Father’s Day this year, we decided to have a little fun and honor some of our favorite dads from the small screen. C’mon, admit it: At one point or another, didn’t you wish one of these guys was your real dad?!

Cliff Huxtable (The Cosby Show)
The Cosby Show has been off the air for almost 20 years, but the tales of the Huxtable family still ring true today. Dr. Huxtable was lovable, strict, and goofy. He taught Theo the value of money, Rudy how to clean up, and all his children how to give Zerberts. Everyone wanted Dr. Huxtable as a dad.

Tony Soprano (The Sopranos)
A controversial choice for sure, but who wouldn't have wanted Tony Soprano as your dad when your high-school boyfriend dumped you for your best friend? Can you imagine how scared Johnny Football would be as Tony stood over him, just breathing. "You did WHAT to my daughter?" No one would mess with you ever again!

Michael Taylor and Joey Harris (My Two Dads)
The 1980s are home to many great inventions: legwarmers, Duran Duran, and of course the brilliant TV show "My Two Dads" starring Paul Reiser and Greg Evigan . . . because we all know the only thing better than one top dad is TWO top dads. Paul was the straight arrow and Greg was the wild and crazy artist. Together they raised Nicole after her mom died. Despite the unorthodox arrangement, life was always a blast in the Taylor/Harris household.

Tony Micelli (Who's the Boss?)
Not only is Tony Micelli a dream dad, he's also a dream husband: he's handsome and he cooks and cleans. Am I right, ladies? Tony was not only a great father figure to his daughter Samantha, but he also helped raise Angela's son Jonathan and entertained her always-fun mother, Mona.

Jim Walsh (Beverly Hills 90210)
Jim was truly a real dad. Not always popular, he was strict and stern with his children and their dating lives. We know he didn't always like Dylan, and while he probably would have liked to control Brenda, he let his kids make their own mistakes. Plus he was kind of rich, which is always nice in a dad!
