All New Episode Features Karen Grauber from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

NEW YORK—NOVEMBER 2, 2010 – A mother’s thirst for freedom has dire effects on a one-hour episode of Oxygen’s “Snapped,” premiering Sunday, November 7 at 10PM ET/PT. Each chilling installment offers gritty details, interviews and a deeper look into the minds of the women who snapped.

For Karen Grauber, life wasn't always as perfect as it appeared. After creating a thriving daycare business, Karen’s home life crumbles and fails to match her business success. Unhappy in her marriage, Karen spends less and less time with her family until she moves out entirely. With hopes of rekindling their marriage, her husband Tony goes to the daycare to talk Karen into coming home. But it all goes wrong when a distressing call to 911 informs authorities Tony has been shot and Karen claims she killed him in self defense. During the investigation, Karen’s double life comes to light and her issues with drugs and gambling paint a guilty picture. Karen sticks to her story, and despite no evidence of domestic abuse, she continues to claim that Tony was the monster in the relationship. Did Karen murder her husband to free her wild side? Or was Karen simply ending a cycle of abuse?

“Snapped” features everyday average moms, wives and girlfriends who are accused of committing murder. Did they really do it? And if so, why? Was it a cheating spouse, years of constant abuse or that dirty dish in the sink? Whatever the situation, the women share a common bond--they all allegedly SNAPPED!

For the “Snapped” super fan www.oxygen.com has all new photos, bonus videos and message boards for fans to chat and discuss each episode.
