The family film takes place in Thneedville, a city with no forms of nature. There's not a tree or flower in sight that isn’t made of plastic. A young boy named Ted must embark on a journey beyond the city to learn the story of the Lorax and bring back life to the city-thus winning the heart of the girl of his dreams. This animated tale shows us the importance of taking care of our environment in order to preserve our future.
