Oxygen’s brand new show, Girlfriend Confidential: LA, is coming soon! In this new series, viewers will follow beautiful and successful friends as they help one another navigate the tumultuous waters of love and celebrity life against the backdrop of the Hollywood entertainment industry. At the epicenter of this intelligent, savvy group is fashion model, actor, and producer Eva Marcille (“America’s Next Top Model”). Her friends include actress Denyce Lawton ("Tyler Perry’s House of Payne”), dynamic interior and product designer Nikki Chu, and Kelly Marie Dunn, a talent and brand manager who has worked with A-list musicians and pop stars.

Growing up in Southern California, Eva Marcille was dubbed “Eva the Diva” by her family very early in life because of her self-assured attitude and eye for fashion. After completing high school in California, Marcille moved to the East Coast to attend Clark Atlanta University, one of the nation’s top historically black colleges, where she majored in speech communications with an emphasis in theater while minoring in criminal justice.An outstanding student, Marcille had been granted early admission into Vanderbilt Law School when she was selected to be a part of the third cycle of “America’s Next Top Model.”
Marcille made a splash on the highest-rated season to date of host Tyra Banks’ hit modeling show. Over the course of the series, Marcille blossomed from a diamond in the rough to a classy, elegant cover girl. She won the competition over the other finalists, proving that anything is possible with hard work and determination. “America’s Next Top Model” opened many doors for Marcille as she became an international runway sensation.
Marcille has been working hard to build her acting career. She has had recurring and guest-starring roles on television series such as “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne,” “Smallville,” and “Everybody Hates Chris,” she had a leading role in Sony Pictures’ film “Crossover.” Chris Rock wrote a supporting role just for her in his Fox Searchlight feature “I Think I Love My Wife.” During her first pilot season, she landed a series regular role in the Aaron Spelling-produced pilot “The Wedding Album.” Eva recently served as host of Oxygen’s hit fantasy hair competition series, “Hair Battle Spectacular.”
Marcille resides in Los Angeles with her two Yorkshire Terriers, Aida and Chaka. With a flair for entrepreneurship, she is working on a cosmetic line for all skin types.
Nikki Chu is a high-profile design diva. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Nikki realized her passion for art and design at an early age. Upon graduating from an elite design school, Nikki landed a position as an Art Director of Miami’s Tinsley Advertising, a top advertising agency in Southern Florida. She now practices her love for art with her own company, Nikki Chu Design, which is rooted in interiors, home accessories, fashion, and related products. Nikki’s unique interior design skills are coveted by Hollywood’s elite, including Tyra Banks, Nick Cannon, Terrell Owens, and Gabrielle Union. Her flare for interior design has been showcased on E! Entertainment, HGTV, Vh1, and Fine Living Channel.
The L.A.-based interior designer and tabby cat owner practices Buddhism for peace of mind and to gain insight in the chaotic entertainment world. Thanks to her Zen spirit and experience in business, her girlfriends look to her for guidance in their personal and professional lives.
Kelly Marie Dunn
Kelly Marie Dunn is an L.A.-based talent manager with more than a decade of experience within the music industry. Notably, Kelly served as Day-to-Day Product Manager for the then-exploding recording artist Lady Gaga. In 2010, Kelly was tapped as Product Manager for well-known choreographer Laurieann Gibson. She worked alongside Gibson on projects including Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball World Tour 2010 and Alicia Keys’ Element of Freedom World Tour 2010. Kelly was also responsible for production details for artist appearances on “American Idol,” “Today,” “Teen Choice Awards,” and “MTV Video Music Awards,” as well as music videos for Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Enrique Iglesias, Kelly Rowland, and Keri Hilson.
Kelly was voted 2011’s Best Consultant/Strategist by the National Association of Record Industry Professionals. She currently represents a diverse roster of talent, including several world-class touring musicians who are presently playing with Cee-Lo Green, Chris Brown, and Cody Simpson.
Raised in Portland, Oregon, Kelly is a graduate of University of Southern California with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and cherishes supporting the ambitions of young women of color. Despite being a hopeless romantic, she refuses to compromise for anything less than a perfect love affair.
Denyce Lawton is a former military brat who has lived across the globe. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Denyce is best known for starring in the hit series “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.” Prior to her acting career, Denyce enjoyed a successful behind-the-scenes career in the entertainment industry. She served as Assistant Vice President of Urban Promotions at Warner Bros. Records and later in A&R at Priority Records in New York City. Her experiences behind the scenes helped her to realize her dream to pursue a career in front of the camera.
She has been the face of many household commercials and campaigns such as Turbotax, Pepsi, Nike, Coors Light, and Bacardi & Cola, and she became the first African-American face of the AZN Comcast Cable Campaign. She has a number of television and film credits such as “Entourage," “Soul Plane,” "Switchin the Script," and, due in theaters September 28, Lionsgate’s horror film "The Helpers."
Denyce, who is passionate about photography, is known as a serial monogamist among her friends. She is now living the single life in Los Angeles with her toy miniature Yorkie named Blaze.
